Made To Measure Garment Care

A care label is sewn inside every garment with the appropriate care symbols. The label will also explain the cloth fibre content. This is usually positioned on an inside seam.

Two of our most popular Made-to-Measure cloths are Bedford Cord and Moleskin. Additional care information is provided here.

Bedford Cord

70% Wool, 30% Cotton content.

The cloth has been pre-shrunk and treated to enable it to be machine washed at 40°C on a gentle cycle.

The cloth has been tested at this temperature only. Therefore, we cannot guarantee non-shrinkage at any temperature above 40°C.

Do not use bleach or any bleach based substances in the washing process.

Do not tumble dry as this could cause shrinkage.

Do not wring the garment out.

After washing the garment, shake garment out, re-shape if necessary and dry the garment flat, ideally on top of a clothes dryer.

Do not dry the garment out in front of a strong direct heat i.e. do not place directly in front of an open fire or on a radiator.
